IAMET S.r.l. (“IAMET”) with registered office in Corso Europa, 7, Milan – Italy, as owner of the processing of personal data pursuant to d. lgs. 196/2003 and subsequent amendments – Code regarding the protection of personal data (“Privacy Code”) – and of EU Regulation 679/2016 in force since May 25th, 2018 – General Regulation on Data Protection (“RGPD”) (from now on the Privacy Code and the RGPD are collectively referred to as “Applicable Regulations”) recognizes the importance of the protection of personal data and considers their protection one of the main objectives of its business.

In compliance with the Applicable Regulations we are to provide the necessary information regarding the processing of personal data. This is information note is provided pursuant to articles 13 of the Applicable Regulations and IAMET invites you to read it carefully as it contains important information on the protection of personal data and on the security measures adopted to ensure confidentiality in full compliance with the Applicable Regulations.

IAMET informs you that the processing of personal data will be based on the principles of lawfulness, correctness, transparency, purpose limitation and retention, data minimization, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality. The personal data will therefore be processed in accordance with the legislative provisions of the Applicable Regulations and the confidentiality obligations laid down therein.

 

1.- Purposes of data processing.

The data collected from customers / suppliers, subject of the treatment, are processed and used directly to fulfill the following purposes:

  • fulfillment of existing contractual relationships;
  • consequent legal and tax obligations deriving from them;
  • achievement of effective management of business relationships.

 

2.- Method of treatment.

The data are processed with manual or paper, electronic, IT and telematic tools with methods that are strictly related to the purposes indicated above and are stored on computer media, on paper and on any other type of suitable support, in compliance with the minimum safety measures. This activity is carried out by internally appointed personnel.

These data will be kept for the whole duration of the contractual relationship and also after the termination of the relationship for the compliance with all the obligations connected or deriving from it. Furthermore, the data will be kept for the time necessary to comply with the accounting and tax obligations in accordance with the law and in any case for a period not exceeding 10 years.

 

3.- Provision of data.

Personal data have been conferred directly by the party who is directly involved or by third parties, or derive from public registers. The provision of personal data is mandatory for the purposes indicated above. Therefore, any refusal to supply them in whole or in part may give rise to the impossibility for the company to execute the contract or to correctly fulfill the obligations deriving from commercial relationships.

Pursuant to the Applicable Regulations, the consent to the processing of the aforesaid data is not necessary since they are collected to comply with legal obligations or for the performance of obligations arising from the contract.

 

4.- Subjects to whom personal data may be disclosed.

Without prejudice to communications carried out in compliance with legal or contractual obligations, such as any communication or transfer to external consultants (such as, merely exemplary and not exhaustive, the accountant), the collected personal data may be communicated and transferred to other subjects, domestically and abroad, exclusively for the purposes specified above.

The collected data (personal, accounting and tax) will not be sold or exchanged with third parties. In the management of personal data, the employees and internal collaborators of IAMET in charge of managing the contractual relationship may also have knowledge of such data.

IAMET will not be responsible for the processing of personal data carried out by the subjects to whom the data were communicated, within the limits specified above.

 

5.- Place of data processing.

Data processing takes place at the aforementioned registered office of the owner, at the operational offices and with identified third parties.

 

6.- Rights of the interested party.

At any time the interested party may exercise the rights towards the data controller under the Applicable Regulations, obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the same data, know their content and origin, verify their accuracy, request integration, updating, or correction.

When the conditions set forth in the Applicable Regulations are met, the interested party has the right to request cancellation, limitation of treatment, portability, and to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the treatment of the data.

 

7.- Controller and Data Processor.

The Data Controller is IAMET S.r.l., Corso Europa, 7 – 20122 Milan – Italy, in the person of its legal representative.

The Data Processor is present at the administrative headquarters of IAMET, Via Cascina dei Ferrandi, 85 – 21044 Cavaria con Premezzo (VA) – Italy.
