Experience Driving Change

IAMET S.r.l. was founded in the autumn of 2015 with the goal of seizing opportunities in the cold metal stamping sector and building a leading national group in the field of precision metal components.

Constantly expanding

The company began its production activity by acquiring three important firms: SIAC Industria Accessori Cavaria S.p.A. in Cavaria con Premezzo (VA), Capica Minuterie S.p.A. in Albignasego (PD), and Castiglioni Giovanni S.p.A. in Varese.

In 2019, IAMET decided to expand its business into hot metal forging by acquiring RAD S.r.l. in Bernareggio (MB), which today hosts IAMET’s third production plant following the merger by incorporation of RAD S.r.l.

Finally, in December 2022, IAMET strengthened its presence in the automotive sector by acquiring Cromaplast S.p.A.. The company operates two plants covering approximately 32,000 m² in Valdagno (VI) and is a benchmark in the production of aesthetic components in chrome-plated and painted plastic for cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

Quality and Certifications

IAMET has obtained the following certifications, attesting to the company’s solid tradition of product quality and the reliability of its production processes:

Cavaria con Premezzo

The administrative headquarters and first IAMET facility, the industrial complex in Cavaria con Premezzo (VA), traces its origins back to 1921, when the company SIAC was founded, specializing at the time in the production of metal hardware for the footwear sector. Following the evolution of the national economy and the boom of certain industrial sectors during the 1950s, the company gradually expanded into new fields: first home appliances, then power electronics, and finally, starting from the 1960s, the automotive sector, eventually becoming a key reference for the main European
automotive manufacturers.

Covering a total area of 45,000 m², of which 30,000 m² are covered, the facility houses IAMET’s Automotive division, employing approximately 140 people.
There are over 250 active molds, producing hundreds of thousands of pieces annually, generating a turnover of around 25 million euros.

IIAMET has equipped the Cavaria con Premezzo facility with a photovoltaic system with a total capacity of approximately 1.8 MW, aimed both at significantly reducing production costs and at improving the environmental impact of its manufacturing activities.

Albignasego

At the heart of metal accessory production for the high fashion sector, the Albignasego (PD) industrial complex
has its origins in the company Capica Minuterie, which, since 1956, specialized in the production of precision metal
accessories and became particularly renowned for the quality of its products and its technical and manufacturing capabilities. Over time, the company increasingly focused on producing metal accessories based on customer designs for the high-end
leather goods, footwear, and apparel sectors.

Covering 13,000 m², of which 9,000 m² are indoor, Albignasego today hosts IAMET’s Fashion Accessories division,
which, with approximately 130 employees, generates an annual turnover of around 40 million euros.
<brWith a continuous focus on environmental issues, IAMET has made significant investments
in the complete overhaul of the facility’s water treatment system and in covering its buildings with photovoltaic panels, totaling 0.8 MW.

Bernareggio

In 2019, IAMET acquired the historic and highly qualified company RAD in Bernareggio (MB). Founded in 1973,
the company specialized in the hot stamping production of brass, copper, and
aluminum components based on customer designs for various industrial sectors. In 2020, RAD S.r.l. was merged into IAMET S.r.l.
The Division’s production continues at the
Bernareggio facility, which covers approximately 4,500 m², of which 2,500 m² are indoors, and employs a workforce of
20 people, generating an annual turnover of around 8 million euros.
